DIY and home renovation enthusiast Bong Bain (@wild.hearts.home on Instagram) recently partnered with Sunbrella to make some beautiful outdoor pillows for her backyard deck.
Bong chose Detail Denim, Create Haze, Relate Linen, and Clock Out Cloud to freshen up her outdoor space.
Bong walks you through selecting how she chose her pillow sizes and how she paired the fabrics together.
Her helpful tutorial includes tips for tools to use (like the rotary cutter and self-healing cutting mat). She also explains her process of working in stages: she cuts all the fabric needed, pins zippers for each pillow, sews each pillow together, then stuffs the inserts all at once! Bong explains she finds working in phases like this more efficient.
