Fashion, home, and beauty blogger Annie Mescall (@anniemescallhome on Instagram) recently completed a living room refresh with Sunbrella. Annie describes her home aesthetic as very transitional, a nice blend of modern décor and traditional touches. With her family living room, she wanted clean, modern pieces that were durable enough for her family of five.
An eye-catching feature of the Mescall’s living room is the large sliding glass door connecting the living area with an outdoor patio. “This sliding door sold us,” explains Annie, “but we wanted to add some drapery for privacy and to complete this room.” Annie chose Sunbrella Durant curtains in color Fawn to accomplish her vision for the living room.
Annie explained how her new Sunbrella drapery immediately elevated the space. “The Sunbrella Durant Fawn curtains look beautiful draped on the side and when they are pulled for privacy.”
Annie also chose the Joybird Holt sectional in Sunbrella Loft White to make the living room extra cozy. Even with three little ones, this family-friendly sectional is the perfect addition to her space. Annie explains, “Yes, a white sofa is family-friendly! The sectional is stain-resistant and easy to clean, and so comfortable!”
The finishing touches for the Mescall living room were Elaine Smith pillows for the new sofa from Perigold, made with Sunbrella fabrics. Adding soft pops of color warmed up the space and the pillows pair beautifully with the soft neutral drapes.
