Glen Raven Custom Fabrics has granted distribution rights for its industry-leading Sunbrella awning, marine and media fabrics to Innovative Industrial Solutions (IIS), a Boynton Beach, Fla. based distribution company that serves awning, marine, sign, billboard and banners markets.
“Obtaining the distribution rights to the Sunbrella brand completes our product offerings and rounds us out as a distribution resource for our customers,” said Mark Shymansky, president of IIS. “Sunbrella will play an important role in our growth strategy, which includes opening distribution centers in the Mid-West and Mid-Atlantic.”
Shymansky and Rodger Wise, vice president, founded IIS in 1997, and today the company has distribution centers in Boynton Beach, Fla. and Dallas, Texas, along with a regional sales representative in Greenville, S.C. Shymansky has more than 19 years experience in the industry, and Wise is a veteran of more than 24 years.
“Mark and Rodger have developed an outstanding track record of customer service, and we look forward to working with them as Sunbrella distributors,” said Ocie Ford, national sales manager for Sunbrella fabrics. “We rely heavily on our distributors, and we are confident that IIS will provide excellent representation for our Sunbrella brand.”
IIS has distributed various brands from Glen Raven for nine years and currently offers Firesist® HUV, Glen Raven’s fire retardant awning fabric, and Sur Last, a performance polyester fabric primarily for marine covers.
