Joe Ruggiero Rocks Little Rock With Design Ideas
Joe Ruggiero, an internationally recognized home furnishings designer, was in Little Rock April 7 for a special home furnishings seminar at Cobblestone & Vine LOFT, located at 2314 Cantrell Road (in front of Canjun’s Wharf restaurant). During his multimedia presentation, “World of Design,” Ruggiero discussed the latest design trends, including creative influences from around the world and the growing popularity of Sunbrella® performance fabrics for home interiors.
Catering to designers, Cobblestone & Vine and C&V LOFT, is a home furnishings shop with one-of-a-kind items and exclusive lines.
“Joe has such a wonderful international presence and we are excited he decided to share his expertise with our customers,” said Kim Gillum, co-owner of Cobblestone & Vine. “This global influence is evident in his fabric designs as he makes elegant decorating solutions available to everyone.”
Having traveled throughout 16 countries in search of design inspirations, Ruggiero uses his presentation to highlight some of the world’s top architects and designers featured on his HGTV show also titled “World of Design.” To display their design and color insights, Ruggiero uses video clips, PowerPoint slides, fabric samples, and a showroom of upholstered furniture. Ruggiero says attendees leave the presentation inspired to be creative in their own homes.
“Our goal is to help people open themselves up to the possibilities and provide inspiration for their living space,” said Ruggiero. “Since there is no single dominant trend in home fashion, I use my presentation to clearly illustrate the plethora of color and design options available.”
Ruggiero includes a display of his Sunbrella® fabrics collection for residential interiors in the presentation. From intricate jacquards to luxurious chenille, Ruggiero credits the inspiration behind the popular designs to his globe trotting adventures.
