The Pacific Design Center, located in North Hollywood, California, recently announced the winners of their Annual Stars of Design Awards. Internationally renowned designer Richard Frinier will be among the honorees, chosen by design professionals and leading editors, to be acknowledged at an awards ceremony and reception scheduled to take place at the design center during WestWeek on March 29, 2006 at 5:00 pm in the SilverScreen Theatre.
"This prestigious award recognizes design professionals based in Southern California that have made a significant contribution in their respective areas of design throughout the design industry," said the Pacific Design Center's Marketing Director, Casey Cook.
Highlighting this year's WESTWEEK events will be the architectural panel "Gehry on Pelli on Mayne on Gehry" with Cesar Pelli, Frank Gehry, Thom Mayne and architectural critic Joseph Giovannini as moderator. Hosting additional keynote programs in the SilverScreen Theater will be Domino, House & Garden, Town & Country, and Western Interiors and Design. In the Conference Center, the PDC will present programs hosted by Architectural Digest and Veranda. In addition, over 70 showrooms will host programs focusing on the most current products, trends, and elements of design.
